Announcing 4 Frightfully Easy Ways to Accelerate Your Article Marketing Efforts
Have you ever thought about why so many people on the internet choose to try and make money with article marketing? There’s a much bigger reason than the low-to-no cost of entry.
It’s because it’s profitable!
Think about it. Where else can you:
1. Create Traffic
2. Develop Authority
3. Build backlinks
4. Build a mailing list
…with one single tactic or approach?
But not all articles are created equal. You MUST do certain things to maximize your efforts. Here are 4 of the biggest ones:
1. Write eye-grabbing titles. Yes, using keywords is important, but never focus on them to the point of losing the ability to write a headline that will grab your readers attention and never let it go. Make your title longer than average. Be controversial. Do whatever it takes to get yourself noticed and your article opened.
2. Tell them what you’re going to tell them. People are busy. They don’t always have time to hang on your every word. Provide a summary in the first paragraph that briefly explains what the article is all about. Just like the title, this is another way to be compelling and drawa them in.
3. Keyword selection. Without choosing the proper keywords, your article will have an extremely short shelf life. Pick keywords that your readers are searching for, while being aware of the level of competition for them.
4. The content itself. Make sure your articles actually make sense! I can’t believe how much garbage there is out there. Be entertaining and informative. Ideally, leave your reading wanting more. Use your content to force them to read all the way to the bottom of the page and eagerly click your link.

how can I build a list with an article
Interesting, what you say about headlines and keywords. I know you prefer both, but if you had to take one, would it be keywords in the headline or making a ‘catching’ one?
You have some frightfully great titles here yourself!
Shmaya, it honestly depends on which way your are trying to draw traffic. If your goal is getting that article ranked in the search engines, then you absolutely need to have your keyword in there.
However, if you are mainly looking for traffic from the articles themselves, through sites like EzineArticles and GoArticles, then you want to make your title as eye-catching as possible in order to draw more clicks.
It’s a bit challenging to do both at once, so I recommended doing groups of articles specifically assigned for each task.
Thanks Marc! This blog is an open lab for experimentation. So if you ever see odd things going on for a week or two that suddenly disappear again, just know it’s because I’m trying something new.
